Positions are described in a modified version of Forsyth-Edwards Notation dubbed CFEN. This new format simply removes the fields "castling availability", "en-passant square", and "half-move clock". The position description segment contains one extra file and rank.
The following characters are used to represent pieces:
Pp - Pawn or Soldier
Cc - Canon
Rr - Rook or Cart
Hh - Horse or Knight
Ee - Elephant
Aa - Advisor or Guard
Kk - King or General
